Flute Key Clicks

Key clicks are the sound made when one slaps down a key on the flute. This was the first extended technique for the flute with the piece Density 21.5 (Toff p. 275).

Robert Dick suggests that you finger the note and then slap your G key to produce the sound. Depending on the note this may provide the loudest possible sound.
