Georges Enesco

Georges Enesco was a romantic violinist, composer and conductor who was born in 1881. He studied at the Vienna Conservatory and also in Paris with Massenet and Faure. He went on many world travels both as a conductor and as a violinist. Paul Taffanel commissioned his to compose a piece for his conservatory.
